About Sillage Index

I’m Ivan. I started Sillage Index because buying fragrance online means trusting strangers with your money, and it’s genuinely hard to tell a reliable shop from one that sends fakes or disappears after payment.

So I started keeping notes. This site is those notes, made public.

How these reviews are built

Some of these shops I’ve bought from and tested myself, real orders, my own money, checking what actually arrived. Those are marked as personally tested. The rest are researched from community reports, buyer experiences, and patterns across many reviews. I’m upfront about which is which, because you deserve to know how much weight to give each rating.

The personally tested shops are the backbone of this. There’s no substitute for actually placing the order.

Independence

I have no financial relationship with any shop listed here. Nobody pays to be rated, ranked, or removed. The scores are mine, and they’re not for sale.

This is a work in progress

The list grows as I test and research more shops. If a shop’s practices change, its rating changes. Nothing here is permanent, and that’s the point.
